Welcome to Tokota Competition: Go For Gold!
This is a weekly occurring Tokota competition, open to all Tokotas regardless of tribe or faction. There are currently 6 classes to enter - trail class, cross country, sled racing, mounted archery/shooting, herding and retrieving.
This competition is group sanctioned (pending), which means that 1st place wins will count for the PotA requirement and that entries are eligible for prizes donated by the group.

Rules
Each class will run weekly, regardless of the number of entries
If there are less than 5 entries in a class, ghost entries will be used
You may enter up to 2 Tokotas per submission
Collaborations are allowed, but only 1 Tokota per person may enter for a maximum of 2 Tokotas per submission
You may enter as many times as you like, but each Tokota may only enter each class once per week
Both art and literature is accepted, however, it must be your own work
Art
80% of the Tokota and 50% of the handler must be visible
All Tokotas and handlers in the image must be clearly identifiable
A semi-complex background is required
Entries must be coloured - no black and white images
No stock images/photomanipulation
Literature
Entries must be at least 1000 words
Each Tokota and handler must be mentioned by name at least 7 times throughout the piece
The piece must focus on the task at hand
Classes
Trail Class
Task: Tokota and mounted handler team must complete an obstacle course
Location: indoor arena, various obstacles such as passing through gates, water hazards, crossing bridges/logs, reversing, etc.
Entry requirements: humanoid handler, minimum tack of saddle and bridle
Companions: none
Traits: Honor, Obedient, Stoic, Excellent Conformation I & II, Impeccable Stamina I & II
Cross Country
Task: Tokota and mounted handler team must complete a cross country course
Location: outdoors, large field, various jumps including hedges, water/sand pits, fences, etc.
Entry requirements: humanoid handler, minimum tack of saddle and bridle
Companions: none
Traits: Partnership, Tracker, Allied, Flexibility I & II, Impeccable Stamina I & II, Swift Feet I & II, Camouflage I & II, Waterproof I & II
Sled Racing
Task: Tokota and handler must race while pulling a sled. Race may be timed or against others
Location: outdoors, snow covered ground, forest or open field is acceptable
Entry requirements: humanoid handler, minimum tack of harness and sled
Companions: Miniature Horse, Snow Leopard
Traits:Wild, Wily, Feral, Impeccable Stamina I & II, Swift Feet I & II, Thick Coat I & II
Mounted Archery/Shooting
Task: Tokota and mounted handler team must complete a straight course, which has a series of 6 targets to fire at
Location: outdoors, straight dirt track with 6 targets spread out along the course, surrounded by trees
Entry requirements: humanoid handler, minimum tack of saddle and bridle, choice of bow and arrows or gun
Companions: none
Traits: Partnership, Tracker, Allied, Swift Feet I & II, Camoflauge I & II
Herding
Task: Tokota must herd a group of at least 8 sheep into a pen
Location: outdoors, large field, wooden pen to herd sheep into
Entry requirements: no handler required
Companions: Australian Shepherd
Traits: Partnership, Tracker, Allied
Retrieving
Task: Tokota must retrieve 5 objects of your choosing from the surrounding area
Location: outdoors, any type of environment
Entry requirements: no handler required

Judging
Judging is completed using a random number generator

Judging will be done on Mondays. If for some reason, the show cannot be judged at the determined time, judging will be completed and results posted as soon as possible.
